everyone gets it on the same day for scea, dec 15

when, as in, what time?

If it's 5 PM Eastern, it should be 4 PM Central (if I remember my time zones correctly).

I have a marathon of Law & Order: SVU planned. It'll make me feel better to see the lovely Alex Cabot, and my life won't seem as bad compared to the rape victims. I might throw some "Office" in there too.

I have to get a cavity filled after school. So, my mouth will probably be numb at 5. Oh, wont Dec. 15 be fun. Just keep piling on the stress!

Obviously, check my email to see if I got into Yale.

lol- I actually don't think I have anything afterschool that day, so probably get home at 3:30-ish, tutor my brother, then watch what i like about you (<3 abc family) while refreshing compulsively.

I'll be in class for Academic Decathlon and check on my phone... so either they'll hear me yell like crazy or go in the corner and cry. Probably the latter.

my winter holiday starts on the 15. I think that's actually really really good because then people don't pester me by asking what happened every where I turn. In my school, everyone pretends that they don't know what other schools that others are applying to, but inside, THEY ALL KNOW

anyways. Thailand time: 5am, Dec 16. So, I am going to sleep in (doubt that will happen) and check around about 10am. I think I'll write a long letter to God about the fact that yale is miniscule compared to my life's bigger plan (whatever that may be..)

have fun guys! woohoo.

my friends and I are all going to eat Indian food subsequent to being rejected from Stanford, Yale, MIT, and Brown.

before the decision? probably doing diffy q hw lolz!

i'm tutoring at the school library (i do so mon and wed 4-7) so i'll be using the school computer. hopefully i don't end up crying throughout those 3 hours on monday so that no one has to inquire :/ really hope that doesn't happen, would be humiliating to be asked over and over.

wait it'll be 2pm for me since i'm pacific... MAN during calculus bc class. even worse, i'll check on my teachers mac and cry in front of them and refuse to learn that day.

i know i will be rejected so yea! wont be sad or anything

Well, I have a quiz bowl meet which begins promptly at 5, so I'm debating whether to have my mom log in and then call me the results or to wait until I get home.

I figure that the high school to which I am going will not let me use their internet, because they are our archrival. So, I will have to suffer.

central time here, so 4pm.

i hope it snows a lot on the 15th so i'll be extra scared when driving home from school, and then when i make it home alive and well - i'll e so thrilled, that a rejection might not be so bad.

haha no. it will still be bad. but maybe then i'll just eat a lot to soothe the pain away.

^^ HLover, your snowy drive technique may work. If that doesn't happen, you can also try my read-about-impoverished-people-on-Wikipedia technique cited earlier.

Does anyone else (aside from those who've posted about this) plan on checking their decision in a public place (like the library or school)? Or in front of other people? Or do you guys plan to do it in private and break the news (be it happy or sad) to everyone else later?

I'm doing it at my laptop in my room. Away from everyone. And regardless of the outcome, I will be tight-lipped about it.

I'll be doing it on my laptop, probably in the family room... and my mom will probably want to see and whatnot.

I'll be at my drexel class taking a final exam (4:00 - 5:50pm)

:( talk about distractions...
