What’s with all these math and science people?

I’m going to start in history, and we’ll see where it goes from there. It’ll be something more humanity oriented

^ It’s CC.
Does the overabundance of math/science people surprise you?

I’m probably going to major in political science + a language.

Chemistry or Maths.

^^^ Not really, but I can’t lie. I think it’s annoying.

Music Education (K-12) and History with a concentration in Global Studies.

I’m going to apply as a Computer Engineering major.

Mechanical Engineering

Ouch! :stuck_out_tongue: What’s with all the hatin’ on humanities majors? Seriously, you don’t necessarily have to have a scientific/technical major in order to have a lucrative career.

Depending on the college, my undergraduate degree will be in either Astrophysics or Physics with a minor in Astronomy. Then comes grad school.

It’s OK, when you need a favor from me you can address it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

More history majors go on to become lawyers and politicians than any other job.

What’s wrong with being a teacher that makes it an “ouch”?

Chemical Engineering and Chemistry (not as redundant as you may think)

Possible minor in something like business.

Nothing, of course. The way he said it just made it seem like an insult :P

Ah, got it. Sorry, it’s just that many people DO look down on teachers. Which is part of the reason that our educational system is so f***ed up. But I digress.

^I honestly don’t see how someone can look down on the people who basically helped get them to where they are. Amazing.

economics… for now. I think I could easily be swayed though (except hard science/math). and yes i know econ requires a lot of math.
