What Are You Listening To?

vegan - A vegetarian who eats plant products only, especially one who uses no products derived from animals, as fur or leather.

How does being on the internet countradict that? Also, it's Elliott Smith-- not Eliott, Elliot, or Eliot.

"I prefer the Iron & Wine cover, personally."

I really dislike the Iron & Wine cover. And Garden State. Blech. High school faux art house name-drop fest.

The Postal Service- Nothing Better

hopeful09- lmao. I'm sorry that my screen name has offended you.

Anyway...
<3 to everyone listening to the postal service.
I don't much like the iron and wine cover either, but iron and wine does have some gorgeous music.
But I did like garden state, and I think it has an excellent soundtrack :-) I love that part in the movie where the girl tells the guy "you have to listen to this song, it'll change your life," and then plays a shins song <3

I'm now listening to the new Elliott Smith. I just got it today. Beautiful. [Judging from all my posts in this thead, maybe my screen name should be elliottsmithgirl!]

Hush baby - LL Cool J.

Jimmy Eat World - Work

Phoenix - Everything Is Everything

Franz Ferdinand!!!!!!!!! i <3 them

Lord of the Rings soundtrack

"Worst day ever" by Simple Plan.

New Elliott Smith album, absolutely amazing. Although listening to the lyrics is a bit eerie knowing he wrote this stuff right around the time of his death. He was an amazing musician though, it's a shame he had to go the way he did. Something about this album, it's like good wine, it gets better with age. The more I listen to it, the better it gets. I got it Saturday and have already worn the hell out of it. Best $15 I ever spent.

Oh, and Iron and Wine kicks ass...thoroughly

I'm suprised, there's a lot of good music taste here.
Right now: Ben Harper-"Walk Away"

Death Cab is awesome! but I'm addicted to soundtracks right now...... namely, Shrek 2 (the bonus cd is hilarious!), Garden State, and Scrubs soundtracks :)

Definitely recommend ALL of them.

Present Tense- Pearl Jam

how weird...i am also listening to elliott smith when i came to this thread.... coming up roses...bizarre.

Non-stop xmas music has started on two radio stations here already. Now you know what I'm NOT listening to.

actually, I have the radio on now... agh. it's that new John Mayer song...makes me sleepy...zzz.

In Car CD Player- Wendel Album by Kneebody
On Computer- Windmills of your Mind- Noel Harrison and 17 Years- Ratatat

Ben Harper "I Shall Not Walk Alone"

Green Day "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"

I was going to go see Ratatat in concert with Mouse on Mars a few weeks ago, but my parents made me stay home and watch my little sister instead! They're both so cool (the bands, not my parents.)

Eminem's <<encore>>- awesome awesome album btw, listenin' to "Rain Man" rite now, "You find me offensive, I find you offensive for findin' me offensive."</encore>

Mase, Fabolous...yea, I listen to rap...not a lot of ppl here do though...
