What are you looking forward to the most in regards to college?

The title is pretty self explanatory.

For me, the most appealing part of college is getting away from the people I've been with and starting over.

How about you guys?

Hmm... Things I'm looking forward to the most:

Not having to manage my time between my two parents and other family members- being able to use my weekends to actually spend time with my friends without feeling guilty that I'm not visiting my Dad.

Being able to walk down the hall any time of the day and find someone to talk to

Meeting differerent people! At this point, I'm basically having class with the same fifteen people. It gets kind of boring, I think.

Starting over for me, too. Actually having a social life--I've pretty much isolated myself for the past three years, due partly to an extremely introverted personality. Getting to try new things. I've been holding back on a few things I would like to do for the past few months because I've felt that it's not "worth it" because I'll just have to quit in six months when I go to college anyway. It will be good to be able to throw myself into new hobbies the way I want to without worrying about a massive change just over the horizon, if that makes sense.

Things I'm looking forward to:

Getting away from the people I've had class with since I was 5

Starting over

Meeting new people and expanding my horizons

No longer having to worry about getting into college.

Meeting new people

Having fun

Having instructors that genuinely respect you as a person :)

Not living in my father's/brother's shadow

Being independent.

Studying what I want to study (well, after all the course requirements are met) and using it.

Expanding my horizons.

1.) Making new friends (Networking, girlfriend, more people that have same interests as me, etc)
2.) Studying things I actually want to study (getting an education that is actually going to help me in what I want to pursue as a career)

I have like 10 mini ones for the 2 reasons. lol
