As a current Junior, I am counting down the days until this hell year ends and I'm a Senior. I'm really looking forward to a challenging schedule that interests me as well as all the Senior privileges and events. At my school we have a Senior lounge, Prom Fashion Show, Prom, Senior Trip, Senior Skip Day/Cut Day, yearbooks, etc. What I'm most looking forward to is getting accepted to a college! Looking at all the current seniors in their college apparel is making me excited as I think about my friends and I as seniors this time next year. All the hard work will pay off, I'll be going to a great school, and I imagine the feelings I'll be experiencing as I walk across the stage at Graduation.

So you heard what I'm excited about as I approach my Senior year, what are you guys excited about? Does your school do anything special for Seniors only?

I’m definitely looking forward to that first acceptance, whenever I get it next year. It’ll be the moment I realize that I’ll be going to college, no matter what.
We have Senior Boat Cruise and an All Night Party.
Honestly it blows my mind that we’ll be seniors next year!!
It’s so weird that next year there will be no one older than us anymore. And this time next year, we’ll be done with high school, just about, and we’ll be getting ready for college. (:

I don’t have close friends, so all the social stuff is basically lost on me, but I’m looking forward to my dual-enrollment classes. I finished all my graduation requirements early so I can take whatever I want.

I don’t have close friends either! But I’m certainly trying to make it a relaxed year and do whatever pleases me. Definitely looking forward to college acceptance letters. Can’t wait to see where I’m heading

I’m looking forward to exciting classes that I’ll definitely enjoy, senior privileges (open campus lunch, etc), and college applications and acceptances. :)

Haha. Truth is… All this stuff happens in the last month or two, but mostly the last one. Plus true celebration doesn’t happen until after AP testing (for us 5 extremists and foreign language folk) anyways.

As a current senior, I can say that I still have a pretty heavy workload.
That being said, senior trip was awesome and prom is next week, so there’s a lot to look forward to.

@tangent this is true, I’m taking 4 APs next year including a foreign language and it’s the most I’ve been taking so far so, I know there will be a lot of work and that some things don’t happen to the end of the year. That said, at my school there’s all these events I’ve been involved with since Freshmen year so I know that the last one of everything will be said, and I’m involved with sports so my last game/Senior night will be special as well.

I’m looking forward to whatever the year decides to bring. Prom, Homecoming, etc etc. Plus an added bonus is at my school seniors don’t have to take finals or the state standardized test!

I’m not looking forward to my last choir concerts though. There will certainly be some tears.

Here’s to Senior year everyone! :D

I’m a freshman, but I’d be looking forward to college at that point.
