What are you supposed to do when you accept admission?

send in money? how much? credit card ok?

just found out from the wife that we did this (accepted admission) already; but I still want to know if we are supposed to send any money/deposit.

found this

You do not need to pay anything toward the tuition until the bill comes out in September but if you want to do a tuition payment plan you may need to set that up - my S did private housing his freshman year and we had to give them a deposit. I think this is true for campus housing as well. Your S will be set up with an account that will enable you to pay for tuition with echeck or credit card on line, or I’m sure you could send a check. If you pay a semester at a time the payment is due in September and February - usually the 3rd week. It felt really strange the first year not to pay until after he had been there a month - though we did not utilize the payment plan so I don’t know when the first payment would be for that. Hope that helps a bit.

Last year, the deal was, you don’t pay to accept admission, but you do pay to go to registration, like 100 dollars.
