i just started this thread to see what schools people were waiting for decisions from...it seems like everyone but me has heard from uchicago and i am sooo anxious! i applied EA and it's been so agonizing waiting for them. i am also waiting for brown and yale, but as those will not come until mid-may, i am not quite as worried.

waiting for usc

ditto.....

stanford .

Virginia tech,UMD and Miami wants my springs grades so im gonna be waiting for them until maybe late may.

BROWN, oberlin, yale, pomona, vassar....

My JET placement. I hope I don't end up in some rural arse town in Shikoku!

http://www.jetprogramme.org/

I am waiting for Battlefield 2 to come out.

Cal, Stanford, GW.... 8 MORE DAYS TILL BERKELEY!!!

Waiting for UChicago. The major, major decider for what I'll be doing for at least the next year is this decision. There's a lot riding on it: where I'll be going to school (in more ways than one), where my family might or might not be moving, what I'll be doing this summer (and by extension, my current relationship would be affected), what I'll be doing for grad school, whether I'll be applying for transfer next year.

...

On top of this, I can't wait until summer. I may be working two jobs full-time, but at the moment it seems preferable to the stress of waiting for UChi and trying to get classwork done. :P

Berkeley, UCLA, USC

waiting for davis. if i get in, than well i guess my new loyalty to santa cruz will be fleeting.

U. of Chicago sent out my son's letter on April 15, and he still has not received it. They send the letters to school dorms which can be very careless or slow about handling mail. Chicago is also irritating because they don't give you the decision over the phone either. I don't know if my son has access through the Chicago admissions webpage.

UVa...seems like I am one of the few transfers to apply to only one school.

Tufts! I've gotten into Wash U and William and Mary already, so I am going somewhere else.

Yale, Stanford, Rice, Swarthmore, Carnegie Mellon, and Haverford!! ;-P

Note that only the first two will have a definite imact. The middle two might shake things up. The last two, I'd choose UChicago over them.

penn and ga tech

Return of the Sith...

Waiting on: UVA, Penn, and Michigan

Harvard :-/
