What school do you go to?

What accomodations has the student disability office provided you?

If you have note-taking, how awkward is it to get the notes at your school.

Any tutoring outside what other students can receive?

Any academic coaching available, e.g help not only with picking classes but staying on top of current assignments?

Is having extra time on tests easy to actually make happen?

Did you find yourself using the above accommodations less during your upper classmen years?

UCCS

I have:

extended testing time
Different testing room
My own room in dorms (no roommates)
use of computer and/or recorder in class
assistance across campus if i need it
special meals (gluten free, tomato free)

extra time is easy to get, just contact the DA office and set up a time to go in and test.

Depends on the class, some classes i use it, others i do not.

I never thought that I could get a college degree but thanks to my teachers at Beacon College I am headed toward a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems. Beacon College [Beacon College for ADHD Students, LD Students and gifted LD - Colleges for Learning Disabilities](http://www.beaconcollege.edu) in Florida is especially for students with ADHD or some type of learning disability. The classes are really interactive, and the teachers focus on hands-on learning which is perfect for people like me. If you want more info, you can email info@beaconcollege.edu and ask for an information packet.

My son has

extended time
a note-taker if he requests
a reader if he requests (more useful for non-mathematical courses)
in principle, a scribe but he has never requested this

He probably uses extended time for all classes with tests (e.g., not for studio art classes) and readers for a subset of his classes (not math, not studio art).

Extra time on test. A Note taker, and being able to record lectures. I wish I could use notes since some of my classes require a lot of memorization. My memorsation is terrible. Lol
