Wow, everyone applied to and was accepted into such prestigious schools compared to the ones I applied to. I just dont really have the funds to go to private schools or out-of-state so I’m transferring from SRJC to the good ol’ CSU system.

Accepted:
CSU Chico
CSU Long Beach
CSU San Marcos
CSU Sacramento
CSU Fullerton
CSU Channel Islands
Sonoma State University

Rejected/Waitlisted: none

Deciding between: I have narrowed it down to Long Beach and Chico. I am completely stuck in my decision because they both have their pros and cons. I am majoring in communications, and want to become an event coordinator. I have lived in nor-cal all my life and have always wanted to live in so-cal, but it is quite a bit more expensive than chico. I know about Chico’s “party school” rep, and really dont mind because I will be living with my boyfriend who doesnt go to college, and I’m not much of a “let’s get hammer slammered and party all the time person.” He is favoring Chico because it is in nor-cal, but I dont see myself gaining much experience in my field up there. Both colleges are so different in every way, and I really need help!

Any advice from people who know about the two areas or just opinions on the matter would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!
