The examples you know all about that you could twist into any prompt?

Of course, you need a few. Prompts can be very different. They could be about anything from technology to leadership to society to TV role models to education....

Most likely war-related issues/battles. I could always twist and turn war and conflicts into examples fitting any prompt. As a fan of many things war, I resorted to mentioning a person or battle I recalled and sometimes made up a few things here and there to make things work. Probably my most commonly used example is the Spartans, as many of the SAT prompts question morals and ethics, both of which can easily be found in the battle-driven Spartan populace.

Young pop artists like Bieber (ew), genres of music such as KPop, disney movies and cartoons (for example, with Frozen, you can talk about a lot of things such as how girls should/shouldn’t act, how guys should/shouldn’t act, the importance of being truthful, etc), personal anecdotes from school, etc.

Contemporary prompts, at least for me, tend to be easier just because it is recent and modern.

You can’t always take some example and twist it into ANY prompt but there are definitely some examples and themes that are pretty useful in general.

For change, revolution and innovation, I like to use Martin Luther (and his impact on the Protestant Reformation). For overcoming adversity/persistence, I like to use Stephen Hawking (instead of Thomas Edison LOL). I also think using the biographies of US Presidents has a lot of potential. In particular I like to use FDR for overcoming adversity as well.

In general, I think it’s good to pick a reputable example that is not well-known but not overused (like Edison or Napoleon.
