I’m obsessed with the number 3 and all it’s multiples. O_o

I am absurdly and ridiculously stingy, even when it doesn’t actually save me any money. I spent twenty minutes in history today picking up staples off the floor and bending them back into shape to reuse. Granted, I was carrying on several conversations at the same time. But it’s still strange.

I also do the time thing.

I wake up at 5 AM every day and do 100 sit-ups.

I always line things up so that they are straight.

I break pencils in half to relieve stress.

My eccentricity is 0.6

Yes, I AM an ellipse…

Every time I eat a colored candy or fruit snack I must organize them by color and shape, and then make sure all groups are even. Like if there are four greens, four blue and only two reds, I have to eat two of the greens and two of the blues before I can even touch the reds.

superstitious about numbers (try to avoid things with ‘14’ in them without another ‘good’ number), sees everything through an extremely morbid/violent life (or alternately: has violent undertones to everything in her life), sometimes acts overly analytical/objective/emotionless about things (namely sexual or just weird/disgusting things-- like ‘how would that even work?’)

Oh, I hate numbers that don’t end in a 5 or a 0. They bug me.

I need to turn on and off the light twice. Yeah its annoying but I cant help it.

I have to have a cup of water next to me while Im doing my homework.

I need to keep my window open while sleeping, no matter how cold in the winter it gets. I like the cold.

I always have a fan going, including when it’s -40°F outside. I just keep my electric blanket on high to cancel it out :)

If I’m not preoccupied, I also blink every time I stop on a crack, so I tend to look like I’m having a seizure lol.

If I turn around left, then I HAVE to turn right (or vise-versa), even in a video game! If I don’t then I feel wound up like a spring. Also, when arranging stuff in my back back, all of the books have to be in order of height.

i like even numbers.
in the car, i always turn the volume to an even number.

^Yuck, I like odd numbers.

some numbers are good, some numbers are bad. 12 is a very good number.

sometimes in the car i say, “i have to see seven red cars.” or something. and i won’t leave it alone until i see that many cars.

post #29-“If I turn around left, then I HAVE to turn right (or vise-versa), even in a video game! If I don’t then I feel wound up like a spring. Also, when arranging stuff in my back back, all of the books have to be in order of height.”

i have BOTH of these as well giggitus, lol.

When studying for a test, I always write out notes to help me remember things on a seperate looseleaf

i can go for days without saying anything to anyone.
i put away my clothes in a specific order: first all the like colors go together, then all the color groups go in order of ROYGBV
i’m indian, yet i hate most bollywood movies and i normally do not watch indian movies or listen to indian music.
i still manage to be really traditional.
i love curly hair but have to straighten my hair most of the time to keep it under control.
i’m intimidated by my cousins bc they are so freaking intelligent and awesome people who have the most awesome accomplishment… and i get scared standing or talking to them, probably b/c i’m afraid someone will come up to me and tell me my birth certificate had a mistake and i don’t really belong in this family but another one.

well, i have a whole bunch more but i don’t care to list them.

I clap at events in multiples of seven. So not only do I count my claps, but they have a set rhythm.

Oh boy, and I thought I was weird.

Yeah, i always have to feel “balanced”. And if something touches me I have to touch that same spot again to “erase” the touch. This is usually with doors and walls. I am really touch sensitive. If I scratch one arm, I have to scratch the other one in the same place.

No offense, but I wonder if some of these people have a mild form of Asperger’s. It would explain the touch issues and if they are really bright, it would make sense too.

my food cannot touch, if it does, i will not eat it. everything has to be in order. i will stay late just to organize the books.

it is quite depressing.

I have the weirdest number superstitions. Like, I’m seeing a lot of “I like 12” or “I hate 14” in this thread, but when I think of numbers they each have distinct personalities.

It’s really hard to explain. 4 is a conniving backstabber. 9 is innocent and naive. 7 is just the super-suave unapproachably cool guy. Etc.

I also try to avoid walking under power lines because I always think they’re going to fall on me.

I have the same thing!
