What are your favorite restaurants in Tally?

When we came down last august we ate at the following places:

lunch at Jim and Milt’s (as per the recommendation of P2Noles).

2, Andrew’s Capital Grill on Adams street near the doubletree that we stayed at. It was nice to stay therre and be able to walk down the street to some nice places.

Then we went to a few spots near campus… The Loop which had very good Pizza.

Momo's Pizza.
Los Compadres has pretty good mexican.

You HAVE to try Hobbitt's on Pensacola!!! If you love a good cheese steak - this is your place.

Po'boy's downtown is delicious!
The Pitaria by campus is good, too.
You should also try "Decent Pizza"...it's much better than just decent.

Personally, I love Moe's, I eat there just about every weekend. :-)

WELCOME TO MOE's...

My D loves to trot down to Taco Bell on TN.

I forgot to mention Gumby's Pizza - great Pokey Sticks!

On the Border for Mexican

Qdoba for fast food (really delicious, filling burritos)

Cypress is a Southern dining style restaurant, it's really good

Chez Pierre is pretty good, too (French restaurant)

Lucy Ho's bistro isn't bad -- some of the main dishes are a bit too sweet, but they have a great green tea creme brulee (it's east asian food; they have great sushi)

Hobbit Hoagies is great for buffalo wings and sandwiches

Quiznos -- can never go wrong there

China Delight is good Chinese food, their beef noodle soup is really tasty

Mellow Mushroom for pizza -- they use high quality ingredients and it shows in their pizzas

Papa John's is also good, if I'm going to get a delivery I always call there

Samrat Indian Restaurant is great for Indian food. I'm a big fan of curry.

I also like the Pitaria right off of campus. It's good for a quick meal.

Andrew's 228- trendy- funky atmosphere and wonderful meal/service
Andrew's Capital Grill & Bar- great pub fare. we went on friday eve and they had a jam band outside for happy hour that gathered a diverse mix of people including (my guess) students, community and visitors. some people danced everyone had great time!

Mom and Dad's - off US 27 south out of town a bit. Old favorite.
~~
Nino's - (Nino is/was one of the original operators of Mom and Dad's) farther out south US 27 than Mom and Dad's.
~~
Jim and Milts - BBQ
~~
The Lunch Box - corner of Magnolia and Tennessee/Mahan unpretentious but solid, decent food.
~~
Spring Creek Restaurant - on the Gulf - about 45 min away on the coast.

Nino's!!!! I love Nino's. Good memories from there; I found out I won an all-expenses paid week-long trip to Washington D.C. while having spumoni there.

Congrats! Sounds like an interesting event. ;)

It was...I found out I was chosen for it when they have me a HUGE spoon with my dessert. :-)
