<li>Get more involved with my place of worship and get more young people involved</li>
<li>Place 1st in the local symposium and go to the regional competition</li>
<li>Start my city-wide group/campaign</li>
<li>Volunteer at MP/MPP office (new MPP, this one’s not going for reelection so she won’t let me -.-)</li>

<p>And a bunch more. Hopefully I don’t lose my sanity, but I’ll enjoy the challenge. :)</p>
<p>Senior:</p>
<p>(in approximate order of importance)
- Not completely kill myself/anyone else (first priority)
- Get into college!
- Finish college apps and not procrastinate too terribly on them, write good essays
- Do well in classes/on AP tests
- Stay motivated/not get horrible senioritis
- Be relatively successful on math team, be a good captain</p>
<p>That’s about it for academic goals … socially, keep in contact with summer friends, be patient with the ones I see every day, be at least somewhat friendly to everyone else.</p>

<p>2nd year. </p>
<ol>
<li>Increase my GPA by at least a full 1.0</li>
<li>Land a steady-income job in addition to my current part-time job as photographer (pay is wildly variant, as it depends on how many of my photographs get published per month. . .)</li>
<li>Declare a goddamn major, seriously. </li>
<li>Become desirably, athletically toned. That starts with what goes in my mouth. </li>
<li>Build enough of a portfolio (in photojournalism and written journalism) to send at least a competent portfolio for evaluation for an LA Times internship. </li>
<li>Be less pessimistic with life.</li>
<li>Nail my presence, perfect my voice, and give excellent broadcasting in sports radio. </li>
<li>Hang out and keep in touch with friends more. Really. </li>

<p>My junior year goal is to maintain my current 4.0 (fresh & soph years) even with my 3 AP classes and all other honors. Plus get at least a 4 in those APs, as they are the only AP scores colleges will see when I apply.</p>
<p>Oh and be in the top 10 % of my class so I can be in the Cum Laude society or whatever that is… haha</p>

<li>Try to balance a social life along with homework, my job, and varsity swimming.</li>
