Can you tell your psat scores during the high school years? How much points can you improve your psat scores from year to year? Thanks.

ive never studied for a psat or any standardized test, so these progressions are all natural

freshman 185 (dont really remember)
sophomore 197 same as^^
Junior 205

Freshman...164 (49 Writing 52 Math 63 Verbal)
Sophmore...178 (54 writing 61 Math 63 Verbal)
Junior...193 (62 Writing 66 Math 65 CR)
no studying here either!

Freshman: 202
Sophomore: 231
Junior: 237

The big difference for me was taking precalculus. It really improved my algebra, and my math score went up 23 points from freshman to sophomore year.

freshman- didn't take
soph-222
junior-233

what helped me between sophomore and freshman yeari think is memorizing vocab (yes, the tedious and painful way), cutting back on stupid mistakes, and practicing grammar.

210?
216
I get this year's back tomorrow

omg***bbq i thought u couldn't take it in ur freshmen year

Sophie - somethin bad, around 180?
Junior - 219

Frosh--216
Soph--235
Last--233

No studying. The stuff we covered in my frosh math course definitely made a difference; that's where I gained most of the points between the first and second tests. I also got better at not making dumb careless mistakes on the math section.

I'm still annoyed that national merit won't count scores from before your 3rd year in high school though... I've never been so goddamned bored as when I was taking my last PSAT, almost two years after I took my last SAT.

I didn't take it freshman year, but 10th grade was a 216, and this year was a 233. What really boosted me up was improving in CR by reading more and whatnot.

sophomore-197
junior-228
I guess the biggest difference was that i improved a lot in writing (60 to 77) but i think that just kind of happened naturally...also i didnt make dumb mistakes in math

It seems that you can add 15-30 points each year?

freshman-1690
sophmore-1690
junior-2160 :), dont ask me how, bc even now i can't reproduce that score, just a lucky day...

Freshman-don't remember, but 1350 SAT
Sophomore-205
Junior-222
Junior SAT+Writing-2340

yeah most of the people i know improved from around 15 to 30 points
