Death Penalty: Only for murderers and depends on the gruesomeness of the crime

Should Hogwarts be open to Muggles: I think that would defeat the purpose of teaching magic and providing a safe haven for wizards and witches to feel safe and amongst peers.

Gay Marriage: YES! It doesn’t harm me in anyway. Nor does it harm society. They deserve to be happy, and it won’t be at the expense of others.

Year Round School or Traditional Schooling: I think that the fall, winter, and spring breaks are fair. I also believe that school hours are just right since they are just a couple of hours shorter than those of a worker. That allows students to complete school extracurriculars in the evening without burning out, but I do believe that American summer break is way too long! I was born here, but my parents are foreign so I get to see different viewpoints. I believe that summer break should be about a month so that we have enough time to go to camps and the such.

Legalization of Marijuana: It is not that horrible a drug. Very few people become violent as a result, and so long as their is an age restriction placed and a good amount of taxing, then I guess I would be okay with it. Though I would never partake in its use.

Animal Testing: Not for make-up and frivolities, but perhaps for certain useful sciences (as Rad in Plaid said).

Abortion and teen pregnancy: Pro-choice all the way. Even if the pregnancy wasn’t the result of a rape or incest, the child would either lead a life of being unwanted and feeling like a burden (which from personal experience, I can say is a horrible way to feel) or the child would be placed into the system which is also sad and may result in the same feelings. Also, the abortion should take place in a timely manner.

Teen driving laws- raising driving age: I don’t think that two years of waiting would do too much. Plus, our culture is used to the way things are now that sixteen year olds would just drive illegally. Also, there are many responsible teen drivers. There would also be serious economical ramifications that would hurt the already ailing car industry even more. I am an advocate of more rigorous and thorough license examinations though.

Mac or PC: MACS! I have grown up with PCs, but they have always given me troubles. Macs have cleaner interfaces and less bugs. They may be more expensive, but if you are in the financial position to comfortably afford one, then I say go for it.

I would also like to point out that I like to remain open minded and am completely willing to accept new opinions and perhaps adopt them or merge them with my own.
