Each year my school has an Academic Awards Night where they announce the top students in each subject area of every grade. This year (I’m a junior), I won the APUSH school award, Brit Lit (Junior English) school award, French 1 school award, and the Anatomy and Physiology school award. In addition, my school hands out class awards to students that were best in their particular class, but not the top student in the grade. For example, there was five geometry classes with like 20 students each this year, and I won the class award meaning I was the best out of the 20 in my class but not better than every student in all five classes. I also won the Latin 3 class award…
My question is, which of the these awards (if any) should I put on my college app?
They’re very hard to win because your grade average has to be super high to get them (My lowest grade out of all the classes I won an award for was a 97 overall), but will colleges want to see them or think of them as unimportant awards?
