What bio sat 2 should i take?

I have to take 2 sat 2s and which bio should I take the Bio M or the Bio E?
What's the difference? Which one's easier? IS there is SAT II Bio , mwaning just Biology? or do i have to choose E or M?

You have to choose whether to take the exam with a focus on ecological or molecular biology. Fortunately, you make the choice on the day of the test, so you aren't locked into a decision.

According to the data tables, the test scores on the molecular version are higher (in many cases substantially) than those on the ecological version. The average score on the molecular test is 617, whereas the average score for the ecological test is only 584. In deciding which of the two to take last year, I personally selected the molecular version. It seemed easier and closer to my interests.

Nevertheless, take the statistics with a grain of salt. The samples for each are self-selected, and, from what I've seen, the more prepared and skilled biology students tend to take the molecular exam. That would bias results upward, as is seen above. More likely, the high differential is due to both difficulty and a non-random sample.

The difference between the two is basically that the molecular version focuses on the biology of the cell and the mechanics of an organism, while the ecological exam takes a broader look at the field (emphasizing a macro view of evolution, species interaction, that sort of thing). The exam itself has sixty core questions, and then twenty questions on your particular focus. Also see [here.

My advice is as follows: if you or your course favor one concentration over another, take it! You may want to ask your teacher for some advice here. If you're equally good at, interested in, and well prepared for both, then take molecular. Chances are, you'll score better for it.

How do students decide whether to take Biology E or Biology M?
Students should look at the sample questions in the SAT</a> Subject Test Learning Center](<a href="http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/lc_two/bio/format.html?bio%5Dhere%5B/url">http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/lc_two/bio/format.html?bio) or in Taking the SAT Subject Tests to see whether they are most comfortable with the ecological emphasis of Biology E or the molecular emphasis of Biology M. They should also consult with their biology teacher.
