For the people who got 2000 or more on the SAT, what book did you use? Just the blue book? Barron's? QAS? Just list it out please.

i did ****ty, 2070 but i used the blue book for 3 weeks and went up from a 1910 first time.

so u got 2070?

blue book.
question of the day.
princeton review 10 tests.
kaplan 2400.
up your score on the sat.
kaplan writing workbook.
barrons math 2 workbook. it also helped for the regular sat math.
various other books that i picked up at value village/goodwill. i have over 40 ap/sat books from there, haha.

wat was your score? which book do you think helped you the most?

Blue book
PR 11 practice tests
Kaplan 12 practice tests
PR CR & Writing workbook
Kaplan CR workbook
PR Word Smart I & II
.
.
.
superscore 2300

which book helped you the most? pyang88?

Is pr 11 tests really worth doing at all? Xiggi doesn't think so. i just recently the bought the book instead of official sat guide... was it a wise choice?
Someone name Two books that really help u cover most of the matter for the Sat and a couple of books for practice. I think that should do it for a good score of 2250+ right? or ...

advancer: get kaplan comprehensive course and the Blue book. More than enough.

wow ure that confident?
well i guess i just drained bills unnecessarily on barron's and pr 11 tests
blue book refers to the 'official Sat guide' or the '5 real Sat tests'?

p.s. thnx a lot

and wat was ur score on the
SAT? (just getting more assurance)

It refers to the Official SAT Study Guide. I got a 2200 on the tests.

ajayc thats all u used? and u got 2200?

thats amazing really! i nearly held my breath while i read xiggi's method " as many sat books as u can"
I 've never really seen kaplan ... got to check it out.
and peteyflow ... u can get a list of idioms from 'Wren and Martin high school Grammar' a few pages but good coverage with meanings explained. however not so useful if u want it for the sole purpose of prepositions

I used almost all the books for their practice tests...

and I got a 2310

What about Barrons how to prepare for the SAT..people say there test are harder..

I got

BB
PR 11
Barrons how to prepare
Grubers
SAT math wrk book by Barrons
CR wrk book by Barrons
Barrons 2400..

on the june sat, i ended up with a 1980, but that is definitely in the low range of my scores. and i got the SAS, and for some reason i missed like three or four easy questions, including number one on one of the math sections. i think i was probably nervous since it was my first time taking it, haha. but anyway, i have been getting 2170-2200 on my recent practice tests.

and i think that the 11 tests by princeton review are pretty accurate. definitely more so than the 10 tests by sparknotes. i wouldnt bother buying that one. in my opinion the blue book tops the list for helpful books, followed by 11 tests by princeton review, and followed by up your score.

I used Kaplan SAT 2400 and the free Practice Booklet and I got 2260. (I'm a sophomore)

2140 and I didn't do crap

wait aikomidori, what books did u use?
