I have a consistent 26 composite 2x , with reading varying beween 28 and 34. I am a sophomore, who has not prepared at all nor had a lot of the necessary math to help me do better! Could anyone suggest books or think a course with some concentrated study time that would help? Sorry, not much time and would really like to do better as opposed to narrowing the choices down to 2, and picking the wrong one!! thank you
You are a sophomore – why are you taking the ACT at all? Take the necessary math in school, the test next spring.
@Anjo91 I agree with intparent - finish the necessary math classes before reviewing for the ACT.
If you do well enough, you can just solve every question without being in the scenario of guessing the incorrect choice out of 2 choices.
I used this book and it helped a lot http://www.amazon.com/lb-Book-ACT-Practice-Problems/product-reviews/194123450X
Also, you can go to ■■■■■■■■.com for a ton of free practice tests and some are actually by ACT people.
Thank you all so much!!!
