I want to go to a challenging BS that have high SAT scores.
I don't really mind where, but I would prefer NE just because it's colder..
I would prefer a school that give out FA to a large amount of students, friendly environment, less than 800 students, and more than 30% acceptance rate..
I took the SSAT the beggining of the year and I received a 68%, but I didn't really have time to study.
I get A's in my classes, and I'm involved in ECs too.

Oh, I'm applying for Junior year--
Thank you :]

Also--
Can you guys tell me about these schools and my chances? I will take the PSAT this upcoming month

( I'm not good at art, but I do some sports, not competetive though )
I was thinking of ...
George school, PA--
Westtown School, PA
Williston Northampton School--
Kimball Union Academy-- as I said, I'm not really good at it, although I like it.
and
Fountain Valley School of Colorado

I would highly suggest you take a look at Northfield Mount Hermon -- sounds like a good fit so far.

I can tell you about Fountain Valley -- it is located in a suburb of Colorado Springs. The campus architecture is more southwestern than the typical NE boarding school. The school has good college placement, solid academics, excellent teachers and staff. Team sports are not huge at FVS, but outdoor activities are -- skiing and snowboarding, hiking, horseback riding, rock-climbing, etc. The climate is great -- sunny most of the time, some nice snows in the winter, but then the sun comes out. If you are looking for a casual, friendly, close-knit school that really commits itself to helping each kid succeed, keep Fountain Valley on your list. They give out decent FA (my son's award was not enough for him to attend -- but he is a local kid, of which they get tons of applicants. Someone from out of state would probably get a better FA award). If you have specific questions about FVS, just ask -- we went to 2 visiting days and a personal tour, so we got to know it pretty well.

Just an FYI -- my son had a composite SSAT score in the low 70% and was accepted into NMH and FVS (amoung other schools) so don't freak out if you can't get that score in the 90%.

Aspirant94, yes, lol, I'm the same person! I only applied to one school last year because I didn't have time for the other schools, and the acceptance rate was super low, so yea, I didn't get in!! =[ Oh well though :p
What about you?
