What calculators would you recommend?

<p>I typically use a TI-84 calculator. Does anyone have any recommendations on other calculators for the ACT, such as the TI-83 (or plus)?</p>

<p>Any calculator that graphs well, can program, and you are familiar with. Add a distance formula and quadratic formula program for quicker calculations.</p>

<p>The TI-Nspire worked well for me, but any graphing calculator will do. You should be able to solve every problem without a calculator.</p>

<p>Any 83/84 will be fine.</p>

<p>I used an NSpire (barely) for the ACT; you should be fine with an 83 or 84.</p>
