What Caltech Looks Like

These pics don't do justice to caltech. The campus has beautiful landscaing and fountains and ponds & bridges. One smells the orange trees as you walk to classes.

Actually, one smells the faint medicinal scent of the caffeine pills one was snorting to stay awake as one finished one's homework.

Can you tell it's finals week?

:-P

Hold your horses, it's not finals week yet. I still have 2 sets due!

Truly spoken.

Ben's right. Actually, this is the week before finals so there are tons of sets due right now. During finals week, you actually get tons of sleep (hopefully).

ok bookworm, here's what Caltech is like:

Thanks. Is that how they chose the school color?

I actually just got done visiting caltech and have lots of pics for when I get home. I am planning to make like a "picture diary" of Caltech / LA , Stanford / SF, and the long road in between.

I absolutely loved Caltech. (I am visiting Stanford tomorrow). I got to meet Ben (and got pics) and Ben also hooked me up with dinner at Blacker house! It was insane (I have pics of a guy getting his head shaved so he wouldn't get water poured on him). I also got to throw rolls and learned how to throw saltine crackers like throwing stars, and got to drink the Blacker house drink (called green!). Oh, and I was introduced as some guy's buddy from 'nam. Ok I have so much more to say about how awesome caltech is but I will save it for the "picture journal"

Thanks Ben!!!

Oh, I remember you. I was sitting at the same table as the guy throwing rolls at you. Hope you had fun!

The guy shaving his head was doing it for the hell of it, not to avoid getting water dumped on him. I don't know why he was doing it after dinner.

I don't think that green is a Blacker-specific drink, since I'm pretty sure people in other houses drink it too.

Edit: You should have asked for a tunnel tour :)

In Fleming, I have never consumed green. We consume only red.

Best regards,
Ferocious Animal

Glad you enjoyed yourself, lizzardfire : )
