I have to do exit loan counselling. Your username and password not only has to contain a number, but your password cannot "begin or end with a number". Then it says it should be easy and memorable. Seriously? And I'm supposed to access this important financial information years later? This is so unreasonable, and wrong.

Yeah, password regulations tend to be ridiculous. My school recently went and reset the passwords of almost everyone in the system that didn’t meet new guidelines, leading to professors being unable to access their teaching materials, students frustrated and confused, and so on.

Use leetspeak, or as one would write in leetspeak, u53 l33tsp34k.

If you think that’s unreasonable, just wait until you find out about the years and years of loan payments… ;)

^ Truth haha.

It’s really not a big deal. If you forget, I’m sure there’s a way to reset your password or retrieve it. Wait til you get a job and the computer makes you change your password every six weeks (and you have to have a letter, number, and symbol) :p
