<p>Ok, I only paln to take the ACT in May, but I want to do realy well. (Who doesen't) What can I do to increase my chances of doing well. I don't want to read a prep book because I want to save it from when the test gets closer. What can I do. Please help. Thank you in advance!</p>

<p>It’s good that you are starting this early, but you should start using a prep book or a tutor NOW so when you are a few months away you can start taking real timed practice tests. Start by just doing problems out of the prep books, untimed, to get a feel for the types of questions that will be on the test. Believe me, you will want all the practice you can get. I only started studying 3 months before i took the ACT for my first time and it was very stressful.</p>
