I am a Asian and I am worring about the so called stereotype will kill me in the admission....
a bit background: born in China,, good kid in elementary school,, good at math,, getting worse from grade 7,, start playing basketball badminton and video game,, start droping school,, start skipping school,, 68%average,,was snatched to Canada,, decided to go to USA for college,, found out very hard because of the damn stereotype and I am not as good as other Asians..

Guys,,, what can I do in this case!!not faire

can I choose not to show my race in application?

but wouldn't your race be obvious from you name?

deal with it, you can't help being asian, it's not like you can just become white (like Michael Jackson)....

So, just write a good essay, show them what's different.

BE PROUD!!! AZN PRIDE!

From the looks of it, it won't even matter if you're Asian at all.

What will matter is if you know how to type in proper English. Doesn't look like it though.

Choose schools that fit your profile.

You can look also look into Canadian schools.

I looked into your old posts and this is what I found.....

Canadian Asian male, non financial aid
SAT I:2300
SAT II: 3 X 800
Rank:15/500 3%
4~5 not significant activities for 2~4years

I have no idea what you're talking about when you say you're getting worse and you have a 68% average (unless you used to have 2400 and the rest of the people in your school really suck).

Just curious. How did you score 2300 on SAT I when you can't even spell properly, or use proper grammar in simple posts like this. And it's not just this post ... you had the same problem with most of your other posts.

Apply for a major that Asians typically don't apply for. Tell them you want to major in history or philosophy.

maybe get a spray on tan to draken yourself, change your name, and you'll have a better shot.

in your essay talk about an aspect of you thats really unasianly
