My SAT score goal was a 2000. I only have three months left to prepare and these were my June scores.

630 Math
510 Reading
490 Writing

Is getting a 2000 even possible? I will read silverturtles guide for the english portion and try and bump that up at least 200 points. I have no idea how I can improve my Reading or Math though. What should I do?

I already have these books:
Grubers Math WorkBook
Direct Hits Volume I
Direct Hits Volume II
SAT Official Blue Book

Review mistakes made Math 800.

Do not listen to Suleyman; he gives spurious comments.
I recommend that you save the DH for the last few weeks before the test, since they only give you a cursory review on some of the most frequently appearing words on the SAT.

If you feel that you must learn half-forgotten topics, then you should go back to the prep book and learn the basics first. Until then, you will see little improvement even after you review the answers. If you think that you made silly mistakes, then the answer to the problem is practicing.

^ Yeah, but isn’t the point of DH to give you a solid core vocabulary? It seems like it would be better to make sure you understand all of those words first because they’re the most common, and then in the couple weeks leading up to the SAT casually study a broader list that uses more uncommon words.

Some CC’ers recalling their real tests have said that they did not see DH words appearing as often.
