Well I signed up for AP USH... there are a lot of the normal people in that class so the teachers said it will thin out in a couple of weeks. But my problem is for AP Biology. I made a class change into AP Biology but they wont let me in because the teachers said I needed to have completed Honors Physical Science. But I did normal physical Science. HPS only teaches the basics of simple chemistry which I already know. And I got a high A in PS. The reason I can't do it is because last year my PS teacher hated me because I aced her class easily, and I asked to switch into HPS but she said no even though she knew I understand all the concepts/vocab.

Also they said I need to finish Calculus before I can do AP Computer Science? ***?? How am I going to do good in life if they wont give me the opportunity? All my friends are in harder classes than me and they are not smarter.

Have you consulted your guidance counselor to see if he/she can help you with your AP Bio dilemma. I’m not sure if you’ll be able to do anything about AP computer science.

The thing is my School has no Guidance Counselor. And I already asked my Dean, he said that he can’t do anything about it because the teachers are in control.

Wow, that’s really messed up. I’m sorry! Go back to your regular PS teacher and talk to her, EXTREMELY politely. That’s what I would do, I guess? Also, MANY MANY freshmen take APCS and they’re able to get 5s on the AP exam. You don’t need calc.

Didn’t say it wasn’t. Let me take a guess… your friends are only doing one AP?

If you have a good background in science, are unable to take the class, and will be dedicated to learning the material. Only you can determine that.
