What Can I do to improve my chances after I turned in my app

Hi
I'm a senior this year. I applied to several good school (uchicago) and few mediocre ones. My question is: after I turned in my app, with my GPA frozen and my Sat score already sent, is there anything I can do to improve my chances?
Thanks a lot :)

If you have one any major recognitions/competitions, it cannot hurt to send this on to an adcom. If you are involved in a significant project/internship related to field of study-- there’s no harm sending a BRIEF summary of this work on ahead.

Your grades are not really frozen-- if you have straight As in first semester in very difficult courses (AP/IB)…that’s a favorable situation which is captured by the mid-semester report.

Good luck!

You keep showing them demonstrated interest (if that school cares).

Just like the other posters have said, demonstrate interest. This means contacting current students to ask about the school, visiting the campus a few times (if you can), letting them know about any of your recent accomplishments, getting in touch with a faculty member who teaches something you’re interested in, and just consistently checking in so that they know that they are your #1 school.
