Hey Everyone!

So, I'm going into my junior year in High School, and I'm very interested in MIT for when I start looking at colleges (I'm from Massachusetts, I like the Math and Sciences).

I currently have a 3.9 weighted GPA, but I plan on that going up A LOT in my upcoming junior year.

Here's what I did my sophomore year of note:

5 on my AP United States History Exam
790 on my United States History SAT Subject Test.

I'm a three sport varsity Cross Country and Track athlete (2nd best on my team, very good on the state level)

I'm running for class president next year

I'm going to help campaign for my Congressman in November

I'm involved in a student run volunteer project at the local hospital

Here's my schedule for my upcoming junior year:

AP Biology
AP Chemistry
Honors English
Honors Precalculus
AP Statistics
AP World History
AP Microeconomics/Macroeconomics (self-study)
(I'm skipping a year of french this year because i already speak it fluently and I want to make room for Chemistry, and taking up AP french next year).

Now, I know I don't have any SAT scores yet (because I haven't taken it yet), but I assume I'll do very well. Is there anything I can start doing now to preparing for the SAT (maybe focusing in the vocabulary section)?

I figured that you guys will know the most about this, so I decided to ask you. What else can I do to improve my chances at getting into one of the greatest colleges in the world--MIT?!
