What can I do to prepare for film school?

Hey guys! I'm a sophomore who has a passion for music and film. I've been loving music ever since I was a kid and I practically grew up with it, as with video games. I'm currently enrolled in the school band which has further increased my love for music. Also, every time I listen to any song, I can imagine a movie playing inside my head and basically, I plan out music videos just like that.

Although, I have an equal passion for film. I started loving and appreciating films during my middle school years (3 years) as my computer teacher incorporated film-making, photography, and photoshop. We basically went through pre-production (storyboard, screenwriting), production (cinematography) and post-production (iMovie HD). It was my most favorite class of my middle school years. The teacher himself was enrolled in a film major, in his late 20's pretty much. During this time, I also made anime music videos which my computer teacher analyzed and he mentioned I gradually got better at editing, syncing the music with the tone of the video, effects, incorporation of actual audio from the video and syncing with the music as well. Although, I grew out of being an anime freak. As of now, I want to get into music videos in general. Mainly, video game music videos as I can't find time to film my own music videos or short films (except for film clubs at school), because of my academics.

Finally, to the question. What can I do to prepare for film school, overall?

As for my academics, I'm taking APUSH, AP Eng Lang, H Alg 2, Band, Spanish 2, and H Chem. Should I self-study any other AP? I'm thinking of taking AP Chem, but would I really need it? Same for AP Calc in my senior, would I really need that also? Help me out here, guys.

I'd appreciate your help! I'm want to get as much information as I can from various sources. Thanks ALOT!

Consider posting on the boards of colleges that have great film programs and ask the same question of students who made it into their film schools – USC and NYU for starters. The USC board has had some very active film school discussions and I’m sure you’ll get some great input.
