I just took the June SAT test. I think I did fairly well. Worst cast scenario-1800. Best case scenario-1950 (maybe 2000).

I will be retaking it in October. My goal is to crack 2000 and try to get to 2100 as close as possible.

I have the blue College Board book. But I HATE that book because it doesn't give any explanations for the answers. But Princeton Review does and that's why I like that better. I think I will use the 11 Practice tests by Princeton review.

How can I set up a regime during the summer so I can destroy that SAT in October?
How many times should I take a practice test during the week?
And what are some good ways to improve my math and CR? My writing is fine.

You can get explanation for the answers to the Blue Book online. I recommend that you use the Blue Book because its questions are genuine.

But don’t you have to pay for that feature?

No, you don’t need to pay for that.

Wait so if I bought the blue book of like Barnes and Noble… I would be able to access explanations online? Could you please direct me where?

Thank you

I think the explanations are available online but only if you have bought the online course. Maybe you should buy that course? You will get 9 additional practice tests and explanations for the tests of both College Board books (2004 and 2008). It’s only 70 dollars and you get to use it for a year.

With the blue book (Collegeboard) you get 10 tests and explanations to all the questions + examples of essays scoring every score (1-6). You don’t need to subscribe to the online course or buy the DVD. That’s if you want them to grade all of your essays online. As TigerSteps said you get 9+ tests which is great. I also recommend Princeton Reviews Cracking the SAT 2012 and Princeton Review 11 Practice tests for the SAT and PSAT. I can guarantee that if you finish those three books you should score within the 2100-2300 range. I just took the June SAT and I’m hoping for a 2200+ Go check out my thread had some questions about it (considering I took in India cuz I was on vacation there).

If you own BB edition 2 you can access explanations online
