I am a current freshman in Lehigh University; however, I am looking for ways to transfer to UC Berkeley. I looked up school's website and it says they only offer junior transfer with 60 Units? Do you guys know what does it mean? And how well should I do in Lehigh in order to get admit into Berkeley? Thank you so much

I don’t think you did enough hunting:

I did see all the information you are given to me, but I do not understand the 60 semesters. Moreover, I don’t I can get in with my high school grade, consider my GPA and SAT were average. (3.58 and 1750)

you need to get a high GPA.

Maybe you didn’t read all the info. You don’t need the SAT or your high school gpa to transer to any UC. The 60 units means you need at least 60 transferable units to even have your application considered and to be accepted.

Are you confused on what semester units are? Lehigh university is on the semester system and they award standard units like every other university so it should be familiar. Units, or sometimes called credits, are used to quantify your progress at school. Every class you take is worth a certain amount of units and you have to accumulate so many units to be able to graduate. They also determine what class level you’re at. For the UC’s, which operate on the quarter system, a freshman has the equivalent 0 -29.9 semester units, a sophomore 30 - 59.9 semester units, a junior 60 - 89.9 semester units and a senior 90+ and then you’re eligible for graduation usually once you complete 120 semester units. This is fairly standard for most universities.

The UC’s policy is that to be eligible to transfer you have to accumulate 60 semester units prior to the summer before you transfer to be eligible for admission. So if a standard course is worth 3 units you’d have to finish 20 with a passing grade to be eligible. To be eligible for admission to the UC’s there are significantly more requirements than just that, so make sure you check the UC application site so that you’re aware of them all.
