What can I do with a Biology major?

Besides medical school (ostensibly) what can I do with an undergraduate degree in a Biology major? I always imagined there'd be medical jobs available to Bio major graduates but then I've heard from several sources that there's really not much you can do with a Biology major (as far as landing a job?), which is all the more reason to pursue medical school after undergrad. I'm just wondering how true that statement is, what are you views on majoring in Biology, and how the job search has been/is looking for Bio majors (I'd particularly like to hear from graduates who majored in Bio, grads who didn't, upperclassmen currently majoring in Bio and anyone with post-college, job-finding experience).

I'm interested specifically as to what I can do with the following Bio majors, from most wanting to know to least: human biology, physiology & neuroscience, bioinformatics and microbiology. Thanks guys!

EDIT: I have to add that I'm talking about landing a job with an undergrad degree in Bio (BA/BS) exclusively. I'm not talking about "well, what if I majored in Bio and then got a ___" I'm referring to job-finding equipped with just a Bio degree, of the undergraduate variety. but I'm also interested in your opinions on what pairs well with a Bio degree, ie. an MBA for those interested in medical care management.

For UCSD grads, the BS Biology majors typically go to research associate positions in industry or surrounding institutes (TSRI, Burnham, etc). However, the major alone isn’t going to get you a job – you’ll need to do research or work in a lab during undergrad. Of the majors you listed, most of them are lumped into the general “biology” category (ie, your employer isn’t going to care that there were 2 classes the distinguished the human bio majors from the physiology majors). However, bioinformatics research concentrates on computer work – not lab work.

And it’s not just a toss-up between med school and working. You can always do a graduate or professional degree (law, dental, pharm) program.
