Up till my senior i had a gpa of 3.25 85/100, ive always taken the most rigorous classes and i have great extracurriculars (mu alpha theta, varsity basketball, student council treasurer, Mun etc) but that doesnt quite make it for NYU im also an international student from Colombia wanting to major on economics/finance, my current GPA in senior year is a 3.7 and im in 5 AP classes just that this time around im actually dedicating alot of time to school, and i am not finding it too difficult to get a high GPA ,back then i barely did anything at my house that's why i had the 3.25 GPA which is not bad for not doing almost anything at home. So im entering Boston University and I am going to work my ass off for 2 years to try to transfer to NYU after 2 years. With what GPA could I be able to transfer to NYU?

There is nothing wrong with BU. But if you want to transfer after two years, just do your best at BU and the rest will follow.

im not saying theres anything wrong with Bu i visited itthis summer and loved it but NYU is my dream school so im going to try my best to be able to transfer, is it really that hard to transfer if i have a gpa of 3.5 or above?

to transfer to CAS? no, not that hard. competitive, but not impossible.
to transfer to Stern? yes, it’s hard. very, very competitive, but not impossible.

economics is in Stern right? just that im most universities its in the college of science, social science

You can do economics in both stern and CAS, but finance is stern-only.

i only said Stern because you said finance.
