If I wanted to transfer from a California community college to an IVY?

I know where I can go from cc to UC but where do I go for schools like Harvard,.... and Stanford?

Hey why not give it a shot?

Havard is on a 2 year hike for transfer applicants. Stanford has a very low acceptance rate, however you are at a CCC so you have a better shot than some.... All the info I have lol

I second this question!!!
I mean, yes it may be a daunting feat, but I'm sure it's been done before!
Thanks for asking Harvard.

yeah, harvard is taking a break from transfers, and while they say 2 years, there's not guarantee

yeah. rumor has it they are going to make like Princeton and stop taking transfers :(.

Stanford definitely comes to mind. Harvard forget it (they screwed legions over this year and accept no transfers for a while).

The application process to Yale is also very friendly I found. Not to say that its easy in any remote way but the everything is straight forward and relatively pain-free.

now how much does your hs GPA matter? I have a 3.8W, 3.3UW cummulative hs GPA and I'm afraid it will hold me back.

And SAT's???? What about those???

With regard to Stanford or Harvard, I don't think it's a question of how much your HS gpa matters. It's a question of what inordinately unique quality you potentially would bring to the school.

If your stats weren't competitive in HS, I think you're pretty much done. Unless you have a hook.

People say this process is random. It's not. Unless you bring something special to the table, why should you be one of the chosen 20 out of 1400?
