<p>I remember writing an essay kind of similar to that topic for Penn. In my opinion, since the essay is only 300 words, focus on only 2-3 programs/extracurricular/interests; that will allow you to go into more depth about what you will bring to each of those. Make sure you don’t make it sound like you’re just listing off your resume. If I were you, I would talk about WHY you’re passionate about these activities and how they have shaped you as a person. Really cliche example: volunteering at the children’s hospital had made me more empathetic and passionate about helping those less fortunate and I would like to bring these attributes to the (blank) club at (blank) university. Of course, try to be creative but I think that’s the general idea you want to convey in these essays!</p>
