Drat. I’m stuck on the six words, too. :(

Oh, well. I guess we’ll just have to wait for a few more hours. :p

Drat. I’m stuck on the six words, too. :(

Oh, well. I guess we’ll just have to wait for a few more hours. :p

haha I just tried that too! Can’t wait for tmr! I first could not find where I put my fin aid letter and apparently we can’t retrieve MIT ID no from the MyMIT thing. anyways, Thank God I found it. Can’t wait for the certificates to see the better parts of the MIT website!!

Man, my friends will be happy to hear that they didn’t get rid of the Athena account coupon yet. Everyone was disappointed that registration was apparently all online this year - lots of us still have our coupons :)

just got mine!! woot woot!!

Me too!!! :D

AND I joined the Facebook network. :D

People having the 6 words problem - if you’re an undergrad, you’re at the wrong page, and should go here:

[MIT Undergraduate Admissions – Kerberos Account Registration](http://wserv.mit.edu/register)

(This is a different URL than http://web.mit.edu/register.)

^ Sorry, that link is actually not what you guys want to do. If you’re being asked to provide 6 words, and you’re an undergrad, you’re in the wrong place. You need to go back to my.mit.edu and follow instructions there.

Are you sure? I sort of remember having to enter six words sent to me in one of the big mailings to register my Kerberos account.

It changed this year.

We’re positive.

No, there’s no six words. It’s all through myMIT.

YES!! I still have it. I think it’s probably a better souvenir now to look back on, potentially better than the admission letter itself, lol.

I’m certain As Karen said, it’s changed for this year. Too bad, though, I still have my Athena coupon ^.^

what are these coupons that you guys are talking about?

^ We got a physical slip in the mail with 6 random words. We had to enter those into the website we were told to go to in order to create our accounts. You no longer have to do this.

Is Ashdown only for graduate students?

There’s Ashdown, which is a grad student dorm, and then there’s the Phoenix Group, which is currently housed in Ashdown but is supposed to move to the new dorm in W1 or something when MIT has enough money to finish it.

oh, I see.

Ashdown seems to be pretty far from the main campus though.

Just a curiosity, what does it mean by “more nerdy” “less nerdy” at MIT?

and, I kind of find East Campus to be quite weird… i don’t know but is it like the culture?

^^^ Can you rephrase your questions in the form of…clearer questions with context?

^^^^ Is protext the opposite of context?

You spelled proTeXt incorrectly, mathboy.
