what can you bring to ____?

I'm having trouble coming up with things to answer for the question of "what can you bring to ____ college?". The way i see it, any answer i can think of comes off as sounding too self assured/pompous? Also, as the school i'm applying to is a major reach, I feel as though lall the other students are much more qualified

any help?

How about …

an inquisitive mind
an honest work ethic
a creative spirit
a < fill in the blank > talent (musical or writing or whatever)

Just a few off the top of my head…I’m sure others will have better suggestions.

diversity

“A really good bean dip, but I didn’t know it was a potluck.”

I’m trying to answer a similar question for Rice. I’m not sure what to put either, and probably nothing unique. I mean, I’m certainly a unique person, but in terms of stuff that you write about on a college application, I’m not. I thought about writing about my background, but I’m sending them by QuestBridge application so that would be overkill. Everything else, between the supplement, the Common Application, and my QuestBridge application seems adequately explained. I’m running out of things to write about. I’m running out of angles for writing the same thing!

applicannot, I don’t remember that question on the supplement. Where is it?

The first essay:

I still don’t see it. The only one ds’s QB supplement has is why you picked your choice in no. 7 and then what motivated you to apply to Rice.

Then it may not be on the QB supplement. It is definitely on the Rice supplement to the Common Application.

Maybe, but you don’t have to do it for QB match, at least according to the website.

I didn’t rank Rice, so that’s pretty null. But yeah, it would be nice not to have to write it. Since I’m forwarding my QB app to Rice anyways, there’s really nothing left for me to write about.
