What can you include in an application envelope?

<p>I'm wondering what is acceptable to include in an application. Do you ever send newpaper clippings or other things of that nature? Say your kid got a special honor that was acknowleged in the paper, do schools care to see the article from the paper? I know music and art students can send samples to departments (but not admissions, correct?).</p>

<p>I’d guess that they’d like to hear about the honor, and if it was really important, you can write about the work you did to receive that honor. But my guess is that they don’t want a newspaper clipping.</p>
