I want to be in the foreign service, or maybe a lawyer...we'll see how it goes.

I really want to be a doctor, or maybe a biomedical engineer.

my plan is math/econ double major at Pomona next year, work 4~5 years, get my MBA at a top B-school, and do some i-banking, or something...

iBanking --> hedge funds --> politics?

I will be a writer.

Develop my Currency fund.

Pediatric Neurosurgeon. I'm not sure about my undergrad major yet (though Psychology is a possible choice), so I'm looking into that...

If I could do ANY job, I'd be the editor for Cosmopolitan, which is a kick-ass magazine.

i will be a philosopher

Haha careers? I wish I knew. But I don't.
psychiatrist, astronomer, dentist/doctor in third world countries, writer or novelist, philosopher, architect

It's good not to be too set in your ways. **** will happen, guarantee it.

Tax attorney

Hopefully I will get a degree in either A)Cultural Anthropology B)Journalism or both and then go and become a photo journalist and write articles for National Geographic and some big name newspapers.

Hey are there any other Juniors out there that are still confused?

:)

Right here. Every time someone asks me what my major/career is going to be I answer briefly and generally ("erm...business, or law, or something"), cough, then change the topic

JimmyEatWorld711 don't worry if you don't know what you want to do as a career yet, you still have time to decide. When I was a junior I had no idea what I wanted to do. I did very well in science and was going to pursue something in that area until I took a great interest in economics and applying its concepts to developing nations. Currently I want to become an economic advisor for a developing country and even though I am very passionate about this this may change when I enter college.

I always thought that I was going to go into pre-med or chemical engineering partly because of my parents. When I took economics it sparked my interest almost instantly and I realized I never had any real interest in the sciences.

Heh, I thought about law too but then I realized that it takes wayyyyy too much public speaking to be good (which I dont like) and you have to be (generally) pretty old before you can become relatively successful.

See here's my problem: I'm not really good at anything, but I've done a little bit of everything in an attempt to find my niche. Nothing yet. =P

Here's my resume

Rec baseball for 9 years
Piano for 8 years
FBLA State Qualifier
Spanish Honor Society
AIME Qualifier
150 volunteer hours tutoring young children
Debate Team - varsity letter three times
Science Olympiad State Qualifier
Science Knowledge Bowl
Guitar for 1.5 years
70 volunteer hours working at an art museum
Summer job as a docent at an art museum
Student Government Treasurer

Seriously, I don't think it's possible to have a more random collection of EC's than I do. So I don't really have any solid idea of what I want to do at all.

And if the colleges dont like it, well, they can just go shove it

:-/

Maybe you don't have a career you want to do in the future. Maybe you need a career so you can make money to do something else. I have a friend like this. All she wants to do is shop and travel exotic countries but to do this she needs money.

all those EC's? Jeez.

Become a pimp.
