<p>For whatever reason, biology is the largest STEM major, at a third or more of total STEM majors (all types of engineering combined are another third, and the rest is made up of the other sciences and engineering technology).</p>
<p>The Berkeley graduating class of 2011 had 1175 bachelor’s degree graduates in various biology majors. This was 14.1% of the overall graduating class of 8306.</p>
