What cars do y'all drive?

You just confused me but ok.

What’s a slushbox?

That’s how my car is!

Mine has an M on the bottom. Then beside it a + and -. Way to make it simple for us ladies…

Mine isn’t that “sophisterated”.

My dad said it’s like manual or something…but I thought that was stickshift and stickshift ones roll around and mine just goes up and down. Well that sounded weird.

Cars are hard, aren’t they?

My dad asked me earlier if I’ve checked my oil lately and I was like… -.-

I know how to pump gas into my car. I’m doin better than most.

My family has one car for the four of us.

Yet it’s a Cadillac Escalade, so when I do actually get to drive, it looks like I’m a spoiled brat, when in reality, I’m one of three seniors who actually doesn’t have a car, so I always have to mooch off my best friend or call my parents to pick me up. >_<

But we might be getting some 1993 red car very soon.

You have “manual” mode, which is like a virtual stickshift if you don’t know how to use three pedals. Just put the car into “M” and go to “+” to shift up a gear and “-” to shift down.

It’s not the same but it’s better than straight automatic.

Why would you want to do that though? Does it drive/sound different?

You can accelerate faster by upshifting at better times than the tranny does normally, or you can save gas by driving at a higher gear.

LOL, you said “tranny”.

No offense to anyone.

How does that save gas? And how much can I save?

My brand new Bentley, of course.

If you’re driving at a higher gear, you’ll be driving at a lower RPM and thus save more gas. You won’t have the same amount of power available, but your gas mileage should make up for it.

I never knew this. Are you a mechanic?
