You have a 2400. one b in your whole high school career. And i think your ethnicity will help you a decent amount. I do feel that your ec’s are a bit weak. if you can work on those over the summer to bolster your essays i think you have a good shot at any school you really want. granted these schools are hard to predict but i definitely see you being in the ballpark. subject tests shouldnt be that big of deal 750+ is good enough. what i hear about a lot of these schools is that they make an initial academic cut. you will definitely pass that solely based on your sats… however after that they pretty much disregard grades, they focus on ecs, recs, essay, etc… looking at stuff that makes you different… you will need to strengthen that to get into some of these universities.

^^ Based on ECs no Ivy would accept me. :(

I have heard of people who have done so much than me getting into HYP, including people I know personally. It’s scary, and unless I can pull off Siemens finalist or something like that, I am screwed.

not necessarily dude… (idk if ur a girl or a guy)…

if you can convince the universities through your essays that you have been in a bad area filled with struggle which has helped with your maturity level and understanding about life… i think that could help a lot. you still have all summer… look for internships.

I don’t have anything that makes me qualified to intern in anything meaningful. :(

And what would someone interested in pure maths intern in anyway?

I can neither confirm nor deny that I am βǘḿp̂īńĝ this thread.

Pick up an EC or two your senior year. Don’t go crazy and make it obvious that you were just resume padding though. with that 2400 seems like you have a great chance!

I suppose I should bump this again.
