We all have those classes that were just... traumatic. For me, it was AP Physics B AKA the WORST decision I've ever made. That class took me out of my comfort zone (as far as how my brain works) and I literally could not stand it. My teacher didn't teach and was not helpful which normally wouldn't bother me, but this class was hard as hell. I remember one of our conversations:
ME: "Hey coach, so uhhh, I have a 91.. and the final is coming up. What do you suggest I do to prepare for the multiple choice/free response so that my grade won't drop."
HIM: (While playing COD on his laptop haha) "Uhh.. I don't know. Uhh.. just learn it."
ME: "OH, OKAY THANKS MAN!"

Hahaha, literally I NEVER want to take another physics class. EVER. I can't even express how traumitized I am. OHMYGOD.

Being able to run laps and bringing your uniform (which I did). I physically couldn’t run though. (I needed extensive foot surgery and was in SO much pain.)

Freshman year I took AP Human Geography. I consistently got Bs and Cs. I loved the class,I was just overwhelmed by that class as a Freshman. My regret was my grades.

Beginning modern dance. We don’t learn any dance in that class and the teacher keeps assigning dance projects, even though we don’t learn any dance. The projects are weird too, and all of them are group projects. This sucks because a lot of people don’t care at all and if you are unlucky and get stuck with people who fool around and don’t listen to you, then you and your grade are screwed. And the teacher gets mad and yells at you. So there are only two options: take all responsibility and create a dance yourself or let the teacher yells at you and have a bad grade. This happened to me twice: one time I did everything and saved everyone in my group, another time, which is now, I guess I don’t want to be that person anymore, so I am just gonna see what will happen. I hate it when I am with people who don’t care in any class, but dance is the worst for me since I don’t have any prior dance experience. So since I am taking this class in place of PE, I guess it won’t matter that much if I get a bad grade. It will affect my GPA, but it won’t matter anymore.

Ahh the non-athleticism that is CC… I feel, Rachel, that you would not be required to take gym that semester after foot surgery, or that you could somehow avoid being graded for not running with a doctors note, so I think maybe your story is flawed. And yes they can definitely grade based on athletic ability, but it usually comes down to effort in class. If you don’t try, you don’t get a good grade. Pretty fair trade off if you ask me.

Drivers Ed class online. Finished the class in a week but it’s still considered a semester class weighted 4 points… Got an A but still dropped my weighted GPA… Ughh it didn’t even lower my insurance cost

Not always the case. I had a pe teacher who grade us on how many push ups, sit ups we can do and how many minutes we can run a mile. If you tell her that it’s not fair, she will tell you that you can always work out in your own spare time. Well, life is not always fair, some people are smarter and we can’t deny that.

I didn’t have the surgery until the summer between freshman and sophomore year. I needed it freshman year, but I didn’t want to miss 2+ weeks of school

I would say Web Design, but that was my business credit, so…
Well, I wish I took Italian 1/2 instead of Italian 1 freshman year, or Italian 2/3 instead of Italian 2 sophomore year. The only reason I really hate Italian 3 this year is because I’m surrounded by really stupid people for some reason, so I figure that in a class like 1/2 or 2/3 I’d like it far more. Sure, I’d still have to deal with stupid people during Italian 1 or Italian 3, and probably Italian 4, but once I got to AP Italian life would be swell.
On top of that, I wish I took spanish. XD

I’m a rising sophomore and I already have regrets…I wish I wouldn’t have taken 2 terms of student government. I wish I would taken two maths instead of one. Then again, it would’ve been difficult to learn the math on my own because I missed the first month of high school due to surgery.

Lifetime Personal Fitness - It was a required gym class, and my teacher was crazy. She gave me a C on the pushup test because I didn’t bend my left arm enough. I still got an A though. (I don’t know how)

Computer Keyboarding - I learned nothing in that class, and I have no clue why I even took it.
