I've heard that they count only the 4 basic areas plus a language, but does that include a class like AP Gov. & Politics if I'm also taking a regular history class in the same year. What about if i'm taking Journalism and English in the same year?

bump!!!!!!

Social Studies, Math, Science, English, and a Foreign Language.

I know that already. What i dont know is whether or not they will count two social studies classes (US History and Gov. & Politics) if they are both taken in the same year. What about if i'm taking Journalism and English in the same year?

From what I have gathered, yes, they count both your social studies classes, even if they are taken the same year. My Son took Chemistry and Physiology at the same time, and I was told they would count them both. However, I don't know if they count Journalism.

anyone else?

Yes. And for English they count both English and Speech even if you took both the same semester.

They count Math, English, Science, Social Studies, and a language (spanish/french/japanese/italian/chinese)
