I really liked international relations and thought that Nolan was a great professor (passionate about ir, good lecturer, helpful, and pretty funny). I’m going to try to take another one of his classes in the spring. As long as you attend his lectures and read the text, it’s not hard to get a A. It also helps if you’re interested in the subject. I have one friend who isn’t at all and she’s struggling a bit…

MAC1147 is not bad. If you have Williamson as your lecturer, be prepared. She has a thick accent and goes very quickly. Just make sure you study and do everything you can to do well in the class. I got an ‘A’ in the class but you have to put effort into the class. CGS2531 is A LOT of work. You have these portfolio type things to do, [4 of them] and they take forever. I didn’t take it but my roommate did and he hated all the work for the class, it was time consuming. I’ve heard mixed reviews about ECO2023, some people do fine, others struggle in the class. Just study and watch the lectures, and if you can go to Tutoring Zone. SLS1102 is a bunch of tedious assignments and a lot of people feel it’s not worth for just 1 credit. Good Luck!

Thanks to you guys who answered my PHY2048 thread, I think I will try to get PHY2060. Now if only a spot would open up, and hope that it won’t conflict. If not, oh well. I’m gonna get PHY2061 next semester.
