What classes should I register as an Econ major?

<p>UC Davis says I should only take 2 major classes and the other 2, I should take non-major classes. But I don’t know which 2 non-major classes I would take that wouldn’t be useless towards graduation?</p>

<p>Also, my friends are saying I should only take 3 classes for my 1st quarter (upon transferring from a community college) to get used to the Davis life. After that, it should be something like 3 major classes and 1 non-major…?</p>

<p>Also adding on… since I missed pass 1, I can register now finally but most of the major classes I want are full. I have to wait until Aug 25th to waitlist. From now until start of school, do you guys think I will get in the classes? or should I just take other classes and hopefully try for those classes next quarter?</p>
