What classes should I take? - 4th semester at Cal

Hi everyone, I'm a SO with JR standing next semester and I'm having trouble thinking of classes to take for next semester. I'm in L&S (applying to haas this year) and am done with all my breadths, other college req's, and all my haas prereq's. My telebears is coming up on Thursday and I have no clue what I should take next semester... I took 54 this semester because I may want to do something with math (a minor seems petty and a double major would squeeze my schedule tight for the next 2 years so idk what to do with it).

I guess I'll sign up for 53 (maybe 55 too?) to finish off my math lowerdivs. but thats only 8 units.... I really don't want to take a random class since i'm so sick of breadth courses. and i think ive out-decal'd myself.

i don't think it'd be very likely i can get into haas courses seeing as im not a declared business major ("yet," i hope!) and given my telebears date 9 days after the opening bell...

any advice on what i should take then...? should i just phase I a biz course or 2 and see if i get in? or just phase I both maths (not like you really need to phase I math 53 or 55...)

muhh :</p>

whats your backup major, incase your Haas rejects you? (im not saying it will; just always gotta be prepared for the worst). perhaps you can take a course or two towards that?

-Good luck!

thanks for the advice, my back up major is math! so… lol

if you enjoy math, then take more math!

Most math (actually all but I only know a few) majors I know start off their 1st semester with 55 and 104

Take Econ 100a/ Econ 100b. This fulfills a Haas requirement… and there are no restrictions :)

I agree with StarryNights. Taking your math lowerdivs would be a good idea too! Good luck w/ Haas, you seem to be on top of your s***.
