What classes should I take? Are these too hard?

So I know you guys always get these messages about what classes a person should take or if it's too hard but please help cause im a new student at a new school this year as a junior so i have no idea if the teachers or classes are hard there or not?! and i can't ask anyone else whose taken the classes cause i dont know anyone yet! This is my first year taking any APs too!

As a Junior:
AP Calculus AB
AP World History
AP Spanish Language
AP Environmental Science
Honors Physics
English
Art

Is this too much? I heard AP world is A LOT of work... How much time do you think I'll spend a night studying/homework?

As a Senior:
AP Stat
AP BIO
AP Psych
Anatomy
English
...............and I dont know what to take as a 7th class? any suggestions?
Because there are no other fun electives at my school,
but I dont want to take any hard classes because
AP Bio is hard enough! :p

***Also, if you guys have any tips on being a new student as a JUNIOR, feel free to tell me:)))

As for the schedule, it is not too hard. Mine is (in oder, cuz I have my schedule =D):

AP World
AP Physics
Honors Spanish III
AP English Composition
AP Calc AB
free
band

so… I only have five classes that are challanging… but band has eight hour practices on saturday, and 1 1/2 hours after school, three days a week, and I also run XC… and that is 2 hours after school, everyday, plus meets. so… I am probably screwed this year ;).

Anyway… I am sure you will do fine with the schedule, just take the year in strides, and do all your homework, even if it takes until midnight! lol. Honestly though, if you manage your time right, and can concentrate straight through your homework, you should be fine! Do you have a free period though? I would suggest taking one if you don’t…

AP environmental is easy, so I have heard. like I know it depends on the teacher, but I heard the AP exam is really easy, and the class is an easy A if you do the homework. As for world, I too have heard it is a lot of homework. And calc should be as time consuming with homework than any other math class (at my school). So you should be fine, good luck!

Even if you were the president of 5 clubs and were on 2 sports teams, that is a mediocre/average/easy schedule. Don’t worry about it.

If you are able to handle all of those classes, I would say it would be fine:) Don’t listen to the other people who say your schedule is easy, it’s not. Do the best you can, and if those are the classes that you are interested in and believe you can manage, then I would say it’s sufficient:) Best of luck this year!

That shouldn’t be difficult. It may be 4 APs but:

AP Calculus AB=1 college semester
AP World History=2 college semesters
AP Spanish Language=2 college semesters
AP Environmental Science=1 college semester

That’s 3 college classes per semester, shouldn’t be hard.

I’m a Junior and personally I’m taking:

AP English Lit
AP US History
CHM 151: General Chemistry I
CHM 152: General Chemistry II
Civics and Economics Honors
Earth/Environmental Science Honors
English III Honors
MAT 271: Calculus I
MAT 272: Calculus II

Well, I don’t agree with it being “mediocre/average” It definitly will be a challange. But if you have your mind set with doing good, you should be fine.
