<p>To maximize your chances to get into the college of your choice, each year you should take math, English, a lab science, a foreign language and a social studies course. In other words, at least 4 of each throughout your high school career. There are no specific requirements for the number of AP classes. Not all schools have AP. </p>
<p>Suggestion: take a guess at the hardest school/major you want to get into. See what there requirements are and work off that list. That way you won’t get caught short if you decide on engineering and don’t have four sciences and three lab classes (I’m not kidding: engineering at UDel)</p>
